  • No evictions or lease non-renewals

    No evictions or lease non-renewals without Good Cause as outlined by the Right to Remain/Good Cause legislation proposed in the NY Senate.

  • No construction harassment

    Stop employing construction as harassment tactics to get renters to leave buildings.

  • Abide by all NYC safety and building requirements, including:

    • Having a tenant protection plan in place BEFORE construction begins.

    • Procuring proper permitting for any work being completed.

    • Cleaning shared spaces and removing hazardous material on a continuous basis throughout construction.

  • Provide for the safety of tenants, including:

    • Maintaining functional self-locking doors at property entrances.

    • Maintaining systems for consistent trash removal and pest control.

    • Ensure buildings meet fire safety guidelines including smoke detectors, alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and self-locking doors.

    • Clear open violations in buildings in a timely manner according to their urgency.

  • Provide equal service

    Provide equal service and attention to market-rate and rent-stabilized tenants.

  • Timely & reasonable renewals

    Provide lease renewals in a timely manner with reasonable rent increases in line with recommendations of the Rent Guidelines Board.

  • Landlord transparency

    Provide tenants with information on your organization structure and ownership of their building.
