We are the Greenbrook Tenants Coalition: a grassroots community comprised of NYC renters, organizers, elected officials and candidates for public office.
We formed this coalition to reject the predatory practices of our corporate landlord, Greenbrook Partners. We are committed to helping tenants stay in their homes.

About Greenbrook
Greenbrook Partners is a private equity-backed real estate operating and investment company. In recent years, Greenbrook has bought dozens of buildings in Brooklyn, hiking up the rent and presenting rent-paying tenants with non-renewal notices.
An investigation into Greenbrook by the state Tenant Harassment Prevention Task Force found over 800 safety violations in just 33 of Greenbrook properties, and is continuing to investigate more buildings, according to Comptroller Brad Lander’s office. In 2022 there are at least 1,092 open housing code violations across Greenbrook’s building portfolio — that is almost double the citywide average for the number of units.
